On May 29 the solemn ceremony devoted to the 60th Anniversary of JSC Shchekinoazot took place in Tula Academic drama theatre. It was attended by the Governor of the Tula region Vladimir Gruzdev, the Minister of industry and fuel-energy complex of the Tula region Dmitry Lomovtsev, the Advisor of the President of Russia on culture Vladimir Tolstoy, the Director of the Department of chemical-engineering and forestry complex of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vladimir Potapkin, the Chairman of the Tula Region Duma Sergey Kharitonov, the Federal inspector in the Tula region of the Plenipotentiary representative of the President of Russia in the Central Federal district Anatoly Simonov, the Vice-President of the Russian Chemists Union Vasily Semenov, management, staff and veterans of the enterprise.
The representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Russian Chemists Union, the Tula region Government, the Tula Region Duma, the Tula Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Tula Federation of trade unions, owners and CEOs of Russian and international partner companies, of major banks and insurance companies attended the celebrations.
On May 30 the great festival devoted to the town-forming company’s Anniversary and the Chemist’s Day took place on Lenina square in Shchekino for all its residents and guests.
The festival began with the greetings by the best Tula music bands.
Shchekino residents were welcomed by Irina Podchufarova, the Director of the Department on personnel management and social development of UCC Shchekinoazot Ltd. She congratulated warmly the chemists and all Shchekino residents on the holiday, awarded honorary diplomas and presents to the winners of school essays on Shchekinoazot’s Anniversary, and the medals for the 60th Anniversary of the company to labour dynasties.
